Raised 20" off the ground, the Smart Air Beds Raised Comfort Top Flocked Queen Size Inflatable Mattress is exactly what you're looking for if you have overnight guests coming or you plan on doing some traveling yourself. Complete with a soft flocked top sleep surface, at 20" this air bed is almost the height of a traditional box spring and mattress (about 25"), so you or your guests are up off the floor, away from any cold drafts. Engineered with a comfort top contruction, the Smart Air Beds Raised Comfort Top Flocked Queen Size Inflatable Mattress comes as close as you can get to a traditional mattress with regards to support and stability. The 23 gauge (.60 mm) super-thick, water proof flocked top and 14 gauge (.35 mm) sides and bottom give this air bed 600 lbs./272 kg. weight capacity. The whole bed has expertly electronically welded seams for long lasting quality. The handheld powerful ETL listed A/C pump can have the mattress ready from box to bed in about 4 minutes. The bed accommodates standard queen sheets (not included; fitted sheet will bunch at corners), and the fitted sheet is aided by the flocked topping and a well placed horizontal groove along all sides to limit sheet slippage. When you're ready to pack the item up, simply open the patented 2-in-1 valve to release the air, roll & fold, and store the item neatly in the included storage bag - easy to keep in a linen closet, under a desk (for those of you who take naps at work) or anywhere with limited space. Our 2011 design has tacked the feedback from customers for increased reliability & comfort. As always, please inflate the item 3 times before applying weight to it to help stretch the material to its natural size.

I left a scathing review. But that was too hasty. A company representative contacted me, and asked why I hadn't asked for a replacement. I told my story. He was more than obliging, and immediately replaced the unit. I was surprised and refreshed. It's really a very nice bed, and I wish I'd been slower to assume the worst. I'm very happy with the bed, and recommend it for its ease and speed up setup and modest price. And, needless to say, their obliging and friendly staff. The box had two different stickers on the outside instructing us to inflate fully and deflate the mattress at least three times BEFORE using. We did this about 4 or 5 times before trying it out for the first time. Our guest used this mattress for over a week with no need to refill or top off the mattress. I found a few other reviews saying they had to keep adding air, but don't know if they did the initial inflate/deflate step. This mattress inflates in minutes, deflates just as fast, is nice and tall and relatively easy to get off and on. I bought it to replace a Coleman air mattress that had increased in size until I could hardly open my closet door or even walk into the bedroom. This is by far the most comfortable air mattress I've ever had. The height is exactly as stated and makes the bed very easy to get up from in the morning. Other beds claim a 22" height but actually measure 18" when fully inflated. I use a queen size memory foam topper and it was a perfect fit for the bed. My bedroom is carpeted which really helps prevent damage to the bottom of the bed. I had a Simmons Beautyrest Skyrise Express that lasted over a year! I inflated and deflated this bed three times before use, following the product instructions. The bed still needed to be topped off about every three days. I was hoping this was part of the break-in process. I am on my feet all day long at work and coming home to eventually sleep in this awesome bed was such a blessing. But now, less than a...
